Jericho…Season 3?!
March 18, 2008
Just finished watching Episode 6 of Jericho Season 2. At the end, there’s the usual mini preview of next week’s episode; however, it said that it will be the season finale, not the series finale. From what I understand, Season 2 isn’t drawing the viewers CBS has hoped, with the season premiere coming in 3rd for its time slot. It’s assumed that the 7-episode Season 2 will be it for Jericho, but the show’s creators have produced 2 endings for next week’s episode: one that will end the show for good, and another that will lead into Season 3 (click here for the video interview with Skeet Ulrich). I’m hopeful that this week’s preview, which states season finale, is a good omen for the show.
On a side note, so far I’m happy with Season 2. It’s more action than the previous season, but I expected that. However, by the way things look, I’m doubtful of a ‘happy’ ending for the show since they have one episode left (if the show is to end next week) and there’s a lot to answer for. I do hope that the show gets extended for at least one more season, so as to give this amazing series a proper send off.(image from Yahoo!)

Like many others, if CBS is going to cancel Jericho (again), then who knows how many decades it will be before I watch CBS again. Until Jericho, I think the last time I watched CBS was sometime in the mid to late ’70’s.
Stupid sitcoms and retarded reality shows are all that CBS generally carries.
It’s a true shame, Jericho has been awe-inspiring.

Our whole family watches this show, I mean our WHOLE family, country wide. We are waiting for Season 3. In fact, we actually thought it was a given and then someone said, it was up for grabs? This is one of the best shows ever. BRING IT BACK!

It’s just like Firefly, network brass just don’t get it when it come to really good stories any more. At least Firefly got a movie out of it but still no real end. I say bring them both back.

CBS needs to release the rights of this show to another station. This was by far one of the best written drama’s in a long time. Only thing I can think of is winning the lotto for $300 million and creation my own production company and produce the show with partners from either the CW or Sci-Fi. The show has a following, they just need to place the show on a Thursday night and people would watch cause there is nothing really worth watching on Thursdays.
