Marvel’s Big Screen Cross-overs

May 6, 2008

This sounds awesome to me. Unfortunately, we’ll probably never see any Iron Man/Spider-man cross-over, or an X-Men/Hulk one because of the different distributors owning rights in different regions. However, an X-Men/Daredevil one wouldn’t be out of the question.

Marvel plans some superhero cross-pollination on the big screen. Robert Downey, Jr.’s Iron Man character, Tony Stark, will make an appearance in The Incredible Hulk, due out in June. Studio chief David Maisel says it’s likely the Hulk will make an appearance in Iron Man 2.

The studio has several other films in the offing based on Marvel superheroes, including Thor (June 2010), The First Avenger: Captain America, (May 2011) and The Avengers (July 2011). — J.R. Whalen
