Hooray for HULU!!!!!

Thanks to G4’s The Loop video podcast, I’ve been introduced to the coolest new site on the Internet. This site offers a wide selection of television shows and movies, uncensored, completely for free. Yes, there are ads, but the ad breaks last no longer than 30 seconds (usually about 15) and there are only a few spread throughout a movie, or one break for a 20+ minute TV show.

One of the great features of the site is the ability to take a clip of the movie or show and email or post it to your site.  I’d provide an example here, but WordPress is stupid about embedding video from a site that isn’t Google, Youtube, or DailyMotion.  Anyway, when you watch movies, you have the option to do it in full screen with full 480p resolution, perfect for large PC monitors and broadband connections. And, throughout the films hour and forty-something minute runtime, there were only about 4 or 5 commercial breaks, one lasting 30 seconds, the rest being 15 seconds. Definitely tolerable, considering they’re letting you stream at great quality absolutely for free.

Go check out hulu.com, sign up, and spread the word. Amazing site.
