Netflix Wii Streaming Discs In The Mail

If you signed up for the Wii Streaming Disc from Netflix, you should be getting them today.  I’m actually been catching up on Lost (still on Season 1), and the video quality is what you’d expect from the Wii.  Though Netflix streaming has been available on the Xbox 360 for about a year and a half now (and on the PS3 since last year), the Wii is still able to deliver decent picture quality from Netflix.

Resolution is still capped at 480p, and look about as good as a movie or show streamed from Hulu.  Not exactly something you’d use to show off that $5,000+ home theatre system, but if you only own a Wii and want a simple way to watch Netflix, this isn’t a bad choice.  Plus, it’s free as long as you’re a Netflix subscriber.

Large buttons, clean interface

Easy UI for pause/play, forward/rewind
