make it stop. MAKE IT STOP!!!
OK, so I just finished up a rough draft of a screenplay for a class, and a re-edit of a paper for another class, all of which took the better part of the weekend. So, to reward myself, I decide to fire up the Wii, which hasn’t gotten much love in a while. Then I thought, ‘Hmm…I want to cut people in half today, so I’ll play No More Heroes.’
Only I didn’t go around cutting people in half, I spent a good hour in the various shops, trying on different clothes. I know, it sounds pretty um…not masculine considering the game has you slicing people apart, but it’s a little addicting to buy all the different clothes.
Anyway, there’s this song that plays in the shops by some group I’ve never heard of. Apparently the music video is available in the European and Japanese versions of the game, but for us U.S. gamers, we just get the song played in the shops.
And the song is stuck in my head. IT. WON’T. GO. AWAY.
She’s still got it (the body, I mean)
For someone who’s pushing 40, she still looks as good as any 20-year-old. Touch My Body is an OK song at best (better than anything on Charmbracelet at least) but her vocals are still good. Can she do a proper follow-up to the excellent Mimi? Hope so. There’s an excellent blog post here about Mariah Carey and her possible second comeback.
Funniest part of the whole video:
Mariah Carey: Compunerd?
Jack McBrayer: Wassup?
